Indian chic

Last summer fashion trend based on indian patterns, feathers and other embroidered glass beads is coming back this spring, et as always, I ended up giving in to this trendy effect, with small indian and lovely hints !

Be crafty, be happy !

This week-end I am invited to the baptism of my cousin's little baby boy. Having found no bright idea for a present, I decided to make him a personalized and hand made card.

For a card, you need :
- a colored cardboard sheet, size A4
- other cardboard sheets of different colors; I chose to reuse a cardboard packaging which kraft color I really liked
- fine scissors
- a stick of glue
- loads of patience

Fold the big sheet (neatly).

Cut the letters out of the other sheets, to form the message of your choice.
Personally, I like better not to hollow out the letters, I like the way they look like that. And it is much easier this way.

Stick the letters on the folded sheet, and try not to have your fingers full of glue (hum)

Admire, and offer !

Before I share a few pictures and tips about my London trip, here is already a selection of street

Welcome back, summerlike weather !

Blue sky, beautiful sun, sweet temperature... hard to believe when last week I was shivering in London, where the weather was really ... british !

So here are a few glimpses of that nice day ...

/// And to enjoy this sunny weather, I could finally wear my new favourite tights, which I had bought in January but could not try on because of the cold.

My cat can beat up your cat !

Since I adopted my kitten a few months ago, I have been all love for feline race. That's why I was totally seduced by the inventiveness shown by creators to offer us adorable, crary and original cat oriented clothes or jewels.

Mon chat d'amour ///  My lovely lovely cat

I first fell in love with the sweaters and tees designed by the brand Burger and friends with catchy writings.

And I find this one so funny: "my cat can beat up your cat" !

Neon pink

This week-end I made some shopping, and found this neon pink nail polish. I had a hard time deciding wheter I liked it or not, but now I am quite pleased with my find ! This neon pink is the perfect color to bring energy to those sad and greyish spring beginnings.

I also found this London city guide for my upcoming travel there (I am offering myself five days there next week, the pictures will come soon after)(Iam so looking forward to it!), which color perfectly matches my nail polish ! (sorry for that girly notice).

I love these city guides by Hachette, entitled " A big week-end in ... ", and had already got them for previous travels in Rome and Vienna. The way they are organised fits very well my way of exploring a city, since they are divided through little areas of interest, and indicate all activities, places, and restaurants that must not be missed. I also like the pictures and small maps dedicated to each area and the fact that there are a lot of explanations for places of particular interests, like for monuments or museum, for the visit of which indications are given.
